A healthy lifestyle is an essential part of managing PCOS and is recommended as the first step in treatment.  This incorporates good nutrition, regular physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management and emotional wellbeing.

Research has shown that lifestyle programs, incorporating diet and exercise, can improve the symptoms of PCOS, regulate menstrual cycles and boost fertility. Lifestyle changes will also reduce long-term health risks such as diabetes and heart disease.

Dr Kate Marsh is an Advanced Accredited Practising Dietitian and Credentialled Diabetes Educator with extensive experience and understanding in managing PCOS. She can help you develop a lifestyle plan suited to your individual needs and goals. Consultations are provided by telehealth, either videoconference or telephone.  For more information about Kate’s consultations for women with PCOS, including what to expect from your consultations, how telehealth appointments work and consultation fees and rebates, visits Kate’s clinic website: or call 0416 747 747.  Note: Due to a long waiting list for appointments, from March 2024 Kate is unable to offer new appointments for women with PCOS.  We will update this page when she is able to re-open her books for new appointments.
